Removing skin tags and skin lesions
Skin tags, raised lesions and Seborrheic Keratosis (a common non-cancerous skin growth) are incredibly common and normal, but some people find them unsightly or irritating when they rub against clothing or other objects.
If you’re looking for skin tag removal in NZ, one option is to have these surgically cut out, but that can leave scarring behind in its place. At Skindeep Clinic, we can treat these conditions with a tailored treatment plan, specific to your concerns.
Our treatments
Different skin conditions require different treatments, and we have a whole array in our toolbelt.
If your condition contains pigment and you have a lighter skin tone, we can target that using our either our Alexandrite laser or Quanta KTP laser. These lasers effectively remove pigmented lesions without requiring too many visits.
Alternatively, for raised moles or other skin conditions, including skin tag removal, we use a cryotherapy device called Cryopen. This device uses cold temperatures to destroy cells and the body then sloths off the dead cells within the natural skin cell turnover process. This treatment is safe for all skin tones.
